Description

Hi,

I have recently setup a box with the following specs as a FreeNAS server:
Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz
Memory - 1003MB
FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE-p7
Booting from a 4GB Memory Stick
2 x (Western Digital My Book 2TB USB Hard Drives With RAID 1 Built-in) attached.

I have formatted both disks with the UFS filesystem and both were working fine. I was able to copy on data to the disks and retreive it. Both worked fine when mounting using NFS from a Linux machine. Although whenever I reboot the FreeNAS server the second volume shows as a status of DEGRADED, and FreeNAS cannot get the space on the disk. When I check the SMART status of the disk on another machine it shows as OK.

I am thinking that the limited RAM cannot cope with both 1TB UFS volumes enabled, below is the output of /var/log/messages. Is there any other logs that I need to collect? Is this a known issue?

Thanks,
Alan
